Forgot your Windows password? get new "OR" change your frndz windows password, use his/her's account, restore old password:

Change WIN XP/2000/NT User account Passwords


Download the ARSH.ISO file from here(plz tell me if the link is dead or file is deleted):

Burn the ARSH.ISO file using NERO to a blank CD... using CD/DVD writter.
Now your WIN XP/2000/NT password reset disc hasbeen created.
Now you can reset windows password.

Now restart the computer, press DEL key to open SYSTEM BIOS.Now you must have knowledge of compuer and BIOS. Now in BIOS settings chanfe first boot device to CD ROM.Then save the changes that you have made to BIOS and exit BIOS(pc will restart).

Now insert the DISC that you have created(before the pc reastarts, its better to insert the disc before you exit BIOS).

When "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD..." appears on screen press ENTER KEY. Now wait... and plz dont do anything.After few minutes you will see a BLACK SCREEN and a BLINKING CURSOR at the top of screen.

Then you will be asked to press 1 to continue or 0 to exit. Press 1



Then all the accounts will be shown on the screen:

[1] Administrator
[2] Guest
[3] HelpAssistant
[4] SUPPORT_388****
[5] ARSH (or the account whose password you want to change)

You will be asked to press any 1-5 key, press 5. You can even press 1 to change administrator account's password(which is displayed when pc starts in safe mode).If you dont know about administrator account then dont do anything go with option 5.

Then it will ask if you want to change the password to 12345(for ARSH account in case of my pc) or not?... Press y for yes and N for No. If you press "y" the password for the account that you have selected(from the list above) will be changed to 12345.
You will be asked to remove the CD and restart the pc.

Plz remove the CD n restart the pc and plz dont press any key when it says "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD... "

Now when user accounts are shown click on the account whose password you have changed and enter the new password that is 12345, Use the persons account.

You can even restore the account's password that you have changed after using the account, so that the persons whose account you have used(or hacked) doesnt get to know about it.

To RESTORE OLD PASSWORD restart the computer, press DEL key to open SYSTEM BIOS. Make sure first boot device is set to CD ROM in BIOS settings, and the DISC is in the CD ROM DRIVE.

When "Press any key to boot from CD/DVD..." appears on screen press ENTER KEY. Now wait... and plz dont do anything. After few minutes you will see a BLACK SCREEN and a BLINKING CURSOR at the top of screen.

Then you will be asked to press 1 to continue or 0 to exit. Press 1
Then a message "Would you like to undo windows XP/2000/NT key changes(Y/N):" will be shown, press Y

Then you will be asked to select the backup from the list(make sure at one time you change only one account{password}, so it will be easy for you to restore the old password)...
press 1 to restore the old password

Thn remove the disc and restart the pc to check if the old password hasbeen restored or not...
